Batasan Island in the Danajon Bank faces sea-level rise

PHL, Philippinen , Batasan Island nah der Stadt Tubigon auf der Insel Bohol. Durch das Erdbeben der Staerke 7,2 vom 15.10.13 senkte sich die kleine Insel um einen Meter. Nun wird sie bei Hochwasser ueberflutet und die 800 Bewohner leben in grosser Angst vor dem totalen Untergang.
